Do the surveys collect any qualitative data?

Most survey questions ask participants to rate how much they agree or disagree with specific statements so reports can display the percentage of participants that are experiencing specific conditions.


Often, individuals also find it useful to learn why participants agree or disagree with a given statement. Therefore, when participants answer the agree-disagree questions, one question is randomly chosen for participants to explain their answer in an open response field (see below). To protect privacy, responses to those open questions are only shown on Class Reports (which can only be accessed by Class Leads or individuals with whom Class Leads share reports).
