Ascend was developed through the Student Experience Project (SEP). SEP is a collaborative of colleges and technical assistance providers who are together committed to transforming the college student experience and creating equitable learning environments through innovative, evidence-based practices that increase degree attainment.
Through the Learning for Equity Ascend Research Network (LEARN) we continue to develop resources and refine our guidance on how to support instructors to improve through facilitated Communities of Practice. We are also learning more about the pathways to institutionalizing Ascend at institutions of higher education.
